That's the crazy part. Even if the ride operators for some reason couldn't retrieve the phone (and they told her they could), she could have had a new phone the very next day with just about every single piece of data restored from cloud backup. I don't know if other people are using their phones a bit differently, but I barely have any local data on my phone. Maybe some game saves but that ain't shyt. I guess she really didn't want to lose that Retro Bowl franchise saved game
Plus, the battery will eventually drain. And as long as it is locked, no one else can access it. Meaning, it will turn unto a brick.
