2000-2014, 14 years, PC beat out consoles for sales for EA almost every quarter of every year. Small portion of they sales huh?This forum nothing my azz.
EA & Co. eliminating all those retailers , shipping, manufacturing & Sony & MS cut would make bank if PC supported games like that.. But they don't because they know The Master Race is a small portion of their sales. Most sales come from PC come from games that can run on a Tiger Handheld or some F2p bull shyt. Console gamers don't want PC games but PC want console games everyday.

EA also is their own "middle man" on PC, through Origin. Most their games arent available through Steam. They sell and distribute their games through their own system on PC.

Electronic Arts has revealed its Q1 FY16 earnings results and according to them, the PC is the second – if not THE – most profitable platform for the publisher. In addition, EA reported that players in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline logged more than 170 million online gameplay hours combined in Q1, and that more than 16 million matches of FIFA 15 were played on average per day in Q1.
But let’s get back to what is more interesting here. According to EA’s reports, the PC platform was responsible for 21% of EA’s earnings. On the other hand, current-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) were responsible for 41%, while old-gen consoles (P3 and X360) were responsible for 24%.
This basically means that the PC has managed to surpass old-gen consoles. Not only that, but if the earnings for current-gen consoles were equal, then the PC is THE most profitable platform for EA (20.5% for each console versus 21% for the PC). Our guess is that PS4’s sales are higher than those of Xbox One, thus PS4 is the most profitable platform for EA, making the PC the second most profitable platform for the big publisher.
Still, this is great news for all PC gamers as our platform is a profitable one for EA, which basically means that it will be highly supported by the company.
