It doesn't work like that breh.

Of course newer hardware will be better than something that came out a year before it. The thing is though that so called system if you can call it that will still be outperforming current gen console games years later. For example this system which has parts released several years before the PS4/XB1 release plays Watchdogs better.

that's cool but I want to be able to play every game that comes out for the next three years or so without having to spend another 50 to 80 bucks on some random shyt.
my ps3 got thru nba 2k10,11,12 13 and 14.
imagine trying to play 5 years worth of 2k on PC without upgrading it during that timespan

the 2k games have to run on the weaksauce consoles, so it's not like you PC will suddenly not be able to run them

what PC has is the option to upgrade, and not be stuck with old tech. as an adult with a little money, I like being able to keep up with the tech, and make my experience better

as a grownup with a full time job, I don't have time to tear apart my pc everytime a new game comes out.
waste money and time if you like but I'd rather have the convience and use the extra time for my life.

Ill guarantee if you bought a top end pc in 2010 you can play the 2014 just fine. not in ultra or anything, but just fine.

whats the point in using a pc it isn't maxed out?

because there's something in between "worse than a console" and "maxed out". and that gap keeps getting larger (especially today)

it's also an open platform, with many games that aren't on console, a huge back library, modding, f2p games, early access games, constant sales, etc
