I still dont understand why you would pay a billion dollars for content you then have to scrub to maintain the image you want. They knew EXACTLY what they were getting and still did it. White business is fukking weird
Still dumb as that sale rose the price of the company. If you pay $1billion for old content that estimated value of the market will go up as they have current running assets as well as two shows who do 1 million+ live viewers every week. It would probably have been cheaper to buy everything part and parcel if thats indeed the plan.

There's a part of me that says "who gives a fukk, who was goin' out of their way to see the Roddy Piper match or the Vince segment anyway... if some shyt gets cut, it gets cut".
There's another part that says they don't need to go thru all that, just put a "Viewer Discretion" disclaimer up, the same way any other TV show would.
I DO think some people are going overboard and exaggerating just how much stuff is gonna be edited. I saw someone say on a thread that they're probably gonna cut "everything", even stuff like Stone Cold drinking beers...come on now... people drink beer in TV commercials, it ain't that deep. Honestly, I think there's stuff that will be kept, and only the things that stick out the most and have been highlighted as controversial/bad moments will be edited. We probably won't see shyt like Katie Vick or DX in blackface, but I doubt they're diggin' deep into obscure moments/promos that nobody even brings up... which honestly, there's more of them than the ones we always talk about.
I will say, I'm most surprised by the amount of TSC brehs upset by this... You can't be outraged about racism that's been depicted on WWE TV and now be mad that they're cutting this stuff out at the same damn time. That's just crazy
