See now that's an update. I like those new design. I don't get why the P is in old english style though. Their alt logo looks weird. It looks like a stopwatch.

You're probably one of those cats would would argue about changing the Cowboys, Steelers, and Packers logo because it doesn't have anotamacilly correct lines and etc.
A kid who prefers flash lights and appeal to newness instead of recognizing the gold mine you have in an established historical logo

The logos you used as examples are iconic, but those weren't their original logos. Now I will say that they got it right early on and stuck with what they have now. Having said that, being a graphic designer myself, I'm obviously lacking on my finessing abilities.
