Yall think basketball is bad, yall haven't seen racing. In F1, there are 20 slots. Half the grid have millionaire parents and half of those have a net worth over $250 million. Making it to the top from the lower/middle class is impossible without a sponsor dumping millions into your career.

Every sport is headed in that direction. You gotta be all-world as a teenager with some money behind you to get some attention.

Basically the rich are reducing the number of ways a poor/middle class person can reach the 1%.

Sports used to be the way.....feels like boxing/MMA is the only avenue where being poor is probably more of an advantage. No amount of money can really prep someone to get hit in the face.
