Props to him winning his first title as a college coach with the NIT for Memphis
It was just an NIT title but given the challenges he faced the past 2 seasons (the BS Wiseman suspension/exit, last season being halted because of Covid and the delays this season because of COVID) I'd say its a great achievement. Even this year when they struggled, apart from one blowout, they mostly had close single digit losses. Long as he can keep recrutiing hes gonna compete with the blue blood schools for talent. Just gotta get a solid coaching staff again like at the start, hated to see Mike Miller and Sam Mitchell go
