Air Flight One's where peak one of a kind performance shoes for its time...MJ probably genuinely loved hooping in them....

Weird how Penny shoes became heavier over time...IDK how he was able to hoop in the OG Foams, makes you wonder how much of it contributed to his knee problems...

Foams were indestructible for sure, but I swear they are like hooping in timbs. To play in those at the NBA level has to be a tragedy waiting to happen.

Props to him winning his first title as a college coach with the NIT for Memphis



It was just an NIT title but given the challenges he faced the past 2 seasons (the BS Wiseman suspension/exit, last season being halted because of Covid and the delays this season because of COVID) I'd say its a great achievement. Even this year when they struggled, apart from one blowout, they mostly had close single digit losses. Long as he can keep recrutiing hes gonna compete with the blue blood schools for talent. Just gotta get a solid coaching staff again like at the start, hated to see Mike Miller and Sam Mitchell go

LOLL you are not lying breh...thats why you rarely saw or see players at any level hooping in them despite there popularity...not to mention they slip and are a bytch to break in...I'm sure they gave modified versions to Penny tho....og royal blues looked flawless with the magic uniforms....

Real talk though the Penny 2s don't mentioned enough as GOAT sneaker....As a 90s baby they where the first kicks i seen neck and neck with J's...Penny was legit on that level man and Nikes marketing of him was legendary....
