A lot of those so-called "paycheck to paycheck" people blow have bad money management skills to begin with.

If you get into the habit of paying your bills on time consistently, your extra money will eventually up, and increase by larger margins as each payday goes by.

Problem is people spend their money on "stuff" as soon as they get it, even when they have bills in the yellow or red.

the only way to have extra money is to save and that requires some sort of sacrifice

I remember when need some bands to buy an investment property I ate nothing but oat meal for a month

Some times have to eat one time a day, walk instead of drive, work 60 hour weeks until you stack enough bread to where you don't have to

live in a motel until you stack to a better place

it doesn't matter how much money you make if you are blowing it all on bills so you can live comfortable you will never stack bread

:rudy: grocery stores are restocking every day, you'll be hard pressed to find bread (though buns are readily available like that ain't bread) and water

but everything else was there. frozen food aisle was filled to the brim, cereal everywhere, milk - where are you cats living to where it looks like the book of eli already? :comeon:

Breh I agree the fear mongering has to stop!! I literally just left the grocery store and besides a few items like bread and chicken every thing else was there:unimpressed:

Damn this reflects the fact that a lot of people are really living paycheck to paycheck. My first thought was since many of these layoffs have taken place within the last two weeks, how could people already be struggling to eat. Then I recalled the fact that a lot of Americans don’t have savings and are a paycheck away from homelessness. Everyday I thank God for a my blessings. Cant even imagine living paycheck to paycheck and not having savings to get through, especially now.

One of the better comments in this thread-
We don't know everyone's situation. Now parents have children at home everyday that have to eat, public transportation is shut down- So no taking the bus with groceries, small corner stores are closed down when larger brand stores open 6 miles away.... so instead of having 5-6 smaller stores we have 1-2 big ass Giants or Walmart that serves 150,000+ people within a 6 mile radius.

Unemployment takes at least 4-6 weeks after filing to receive checks- you have to sign up for workshops as well- Maybe they will waive it???

Even people with jobs and money are not finding much needed groceries like chicken, meat, fish, paper towels tissue at the store.

These dudes are clowns in this thread
