dont get me wrong, i fukking can't stand everything he postsi just dont let it get to me
but this era is probably the most positive era hip hop has had since the p.e. Queen Latifa days. Today's rappers are arguable better role models than I can remember. Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, Lupe, Wiz, Wale are genuinely nice dudes despite the tons of hate they get.

what are youu serious at least back then(its funny you said queen latifah) but back then their was some type of substance in rap.regardless if they was talking bout where they came from or what was going on in their hood or what they've or someone they know been thru compared to just at long as this beat is hot and i make a bunch of words rhyme together or i have a nice rhyme shceme im good.

back in the days positive rappers actually were positive.
today its just drugs sex and money. i mean, sure its a good thing that the overly violent shyt has toned down, but these kids today on some real druggy shyt. i see my little cousins doing all types of dumb shyt talking bout "young and wild and free" and "YOLO" but you cant have a convo with em cause they just aint got no sense. like back when i used to chop it up with the elders all the time, now its like these kids is zombies and only talk about the most superficial shyt.

Most modern rappers are self centered and overindulgent
Older rappers were more about community and exposing the ills of their ppl
These dudes are all self important and high off they own juice
Just cause they dont deal drugs or kill ppl (yea, except somebody around Drake
