nikka i dont LOVE i'll be missing you on the level of life goes on i aint mad atcha, but it did what it did and people (not just pop cacs) fukked with that song. You're trying to rewrite history based off your personal preference. Both been around the world's were classic.

every song on the radio in the '90s seems to be classic to you.:heh:

Thread is pointless. Pac's diehard fanbase is mostly made up of emotional creatures who are immune to logic. If you tell them that Pac wasn't that great of a rapper they'll use misdirection and point to his media whoring antics and negativity. If you tell them his catalog is filled with marginal music outside of a couple classic underdog, inspirational, pro-Black songs, they'll point to his rough childhood and 'warrior spirit.'

It is what it is; a bandana wearing, shirtless, nihilistic, necrophiliac, personality cult fueled off Hennessy and 'do the homie' homoerotic undertones.
Well, I admit certain shyt... If you dont think Pac was much of a rapper, but then act like nikkaz like biggie and naS were, then thats an opinion I cannot respect or agree with.

I actually do think he earned his spot as one of the 90's GOATs off impact, its just his catalog thats a little lacking. For better or worse, Pac changed rap and if you don't have a favorite Pac album you probably can't relate to the struggle.

i feel ya'll that's it not on the same level as those other pac albums as far as sales. But it has classic songs, the term thuglife, the phrase bury me a g,how long will they mourn me etc etc with lil to no promotion. Prior to pac's death i only seen a video for this album once on tv (cradle to the grave) All things considered,it did well

Thug Life is a personal classic, I love that album. I can understand its not considered a classic. Im okay with Pacs definitive 3 classics though

I feel you,but watch pac naysayers big up a whole boatload of faux classics. Albums that didnt sell that wlell either and also are not bumped as much as thuglife.

Pac is great on Thug Life, it's just I couldn't care less about the rest of the group and skip them.

Okay then, Lets play that game....Im from down south and we have lyricist here but when the topic gets brought up about NY Rappers Vs Down South Rappers the J. Coles, Big KRIT and Underground cats that from here dont get brought up...many ppl bring up the Gucci's, Waka's, Wayne's etc. on why the north is superior to down south. Im just putting that out there. Fam could have brought up anybody past of present. There's nikkas from the west who can spit too and I 100% agree w/ you that BIG can rap better than Pac but dont bring up 2 NY rappers to make your point across on why Pac shouldnt be the GOAT when we know there is rappers past & present, in every region that can. Just saying Sir

idgaf about LL & Kane. I like Cole & Krit. what's your point?

So your main point of your emotionally driven response is that people cannot be fans of Pac? If they happen to be fans of Pac its because they're emotional "creatures" that cant use logic? The fukk logic got to do with liking a rapper's music? You not liking Pac and his music is subjective and not factual. I swear Pac emotionally deprived some of you nikkas when he was alive lmao. Your response is that of a generic Pac hater.

I think pac is the goat but threadstarter made a valid argument.

people in here clowning dude, but 99% of the ridiculous statements in this thread are coming from those that are disputing him.

only bs comment he made was that "pac is maybe top 20".

LL got like 3 albums better than AEOM.

kane's debut is better too.

I am not talking about how much the albums sold and how popular pac is. I am talking about skills. You can't say Pac was a more skillful mc than Kane or LL. Even a battling. When Pac is done talking about how Suge and the rest of them bloods is going to Kill somebody or fukk them up (cause we know Pac wasn't going to do it), what else can he say? He surely can't when a battle by out rapping anyone. True, Pac had the people on his side with that unrealistic thuglife shyt but, I know LL would've ate his ass up in a real MC battle, not a diss record. Same with Kane.

Pac had fukked up one of Bad Boy's personel (Marc Bell) and helped beat up a gang member that jumped a Mob Piru (obviously Orlando) so you're wrong about Pac beating all talk. Also, your thread is random as fukk. Out of all of the rappers you bring up Kane and LL? Even if LL and Kane are in a top 20 how does that mean Pac can't be on their as well? Your whole arguement doesn't make any sense. Plus Pac dissed LL and he was all ":whoa:" when Pac stepped to him at some awards show.
