AEOM is a classic because disk 1 alone has so many classic songs. nikkas are still using that AEOM blueprint. It's not his best album though.this is ridiculous.
and AEOM is overrated. its a disputable classic(and I vote it as a classic). while the albums I just mentioned are undisputed classics.
what about disc 2?AEOM is a classic because disk 1 alone has so many classic songs. nikkas are still using that AEOM blueprint. It's not his best album though.
No way out and GRODT are classics though, off impact alone. I could point out flaws in aeom also. Problem is nikkas will do that and then big up other albums WITH EVEN MORE FLAWS. For example i have a problem with some of aeom's features but with albums like DI 1 the only thing memorable about the album is the samples. nikkas will hate on the AEOM features, but overall the performances on AEOM shyt on DI.
Disk 2 has great songs and a couple filler songs but Disk 1 has classic songs. So AEOM=Classic.what about disc 2?
wow @ the bolded. especially "no way out".
why do you keep bringing up DI? what does DI have to do with anything?
lol @ the only thing being memorable on DI being the samples. you've gotta be kidding me.
if anything all eyez on me is incredibly under rated and this is due to the dominance of the NY Media establishment, the MTV crowd, and the new media (cacs, hipsters, "complex" magazine types)
in the real world, all eyez on me is a classic and a staple of any hip hop household

I gave you dap just so I could undap your dumb ass.EVerybody on his tip about how he is the goat. For real?
So, he would've gotten on the stage and murdered Kane, or LL? These are just two that come to mind from the golden years where rappers actually had skills. I doubt it Pac fans. These two are normally in people's top 15 and pac couldn't come close to either as an MC.
no way out meant what it meant. I dont think it's a perfect album or even a great one. But it meant what it meant when it dropped. Puffy and bad boy ran 97' on a commercial level..what about disc 2?

I disagree. But if you think otherwise its still cool.there were more than a couple fillers on that 2nd disc man.

i think the reason pac gets ranked above those cats is cuz he released a lot of material but died still being in his prime, which is not to downplay any of it, thats quite natural, legends are made like that in music all the time , but based on the impact of those five years i do think he would have been ranked favorably regardless, as high? would have to see what he would have done in the following years to know that
valid point , i kind of meant it in the way that he died without having a fall offSorta, but I beg to differ. The real tragedy is that he never reached his prime.
Most rap nikkaz don't hit their prime until they're on the brink of them 30's
