He was always my favorite. Chopper City is a classic to me, and everything he dropped up to Checkmate was fire af and got mad burn in the midwest.
Prime BG was incredible. I can still listen to him now, but his flow now is just so far from his peak. Like if I’m not feeling the beat to a current BG song, I can’t listen to it at all.

100% accurate

When legacy artists lose that 'energy' in their voice and delivery it's never the same when they drop. I noticed it finally caught up to Styles P :francis:

No limit had mostly shyt beats. Master P was their main MC. Nothing more needs to be said other than they were wack AF.
Breh, you just snitched on your self.

It’s obvious even to casuals NL fans you literally have 0 clue about No Limit when you say nonsense like this.

Just say you never listened to their albums, and keep it moving.

If you said Checkmate you'd have a better argument. Checkmate is the best Cash Money album (Mannie Fresh era)

:russ: Hell no

Chopper City, All on u vol.1, vol. 2, and Chopper city in the ghetto are all better.

Checkmate is terrible and was around the time they were starting to fall off. You’re on your own with that opinion.

nikka hell no Checkmate got the best beats Manie Fresh ever made for B.G. And Chopper City was not that good, Mannies skills on the boards were embryonic.

As a example on how the music aged and the impact they left on the culture

Bling Bling Era Cash Money currently on tour selling out arenas across the country…went to the first show in the NO and the one in STL…tore the house down, some of the dopest concerts I’ve been to far as the energy and vibes from the crowd

Went to a NL reunion concert in STL a few years back…shyt was so trash Percy literally got boo’d off the stage
