IMO, BG put out the best material before they blew up worldwide

Man BG is one of the greatest teen rappers of all time. He’ll never get that credit, because it was before the universal deal. When people mention Chopper City, nyggas on this forum automatically assume you’re talking about CCITG. They have no idea Chopper City exists.

He was a huge reason they got interest from majors and was cash money’s flagship artist pre-universal. After the deal, it became Juvenile, and then eventually Wayne once everyone left.

Cash money’s run leading up to the deal was fire. Those BG albums, Soulja Rags, and Get it how you live.

Nolimit has plenty of good albums but the problem is the only albums that seemed to have any sort of rollout and treated as a big deal were Master P, Silkk, and later Snoop.

From a mainstream perspective, what would be considered NL’s signature albums? Probably Ice Cream Man, Ghetto D, Tru 2 the Game, Charge it to the Game, and Unpredictable?
