The beats were the reason people even checked for No Limit. You think people listened to Master P rap doja and soldier over and over again for his lyrical prowess?

I mean master p got popular outside of New Orleans so it’s not like bbtp made him popular but i also agree it’s subjective on who was better cause p was treating it like a hustle while birdman cash money was more focused on quality

So as Mac said p would be pissed if bbtp was trying to mix a song or get the sounds correct cause he just wanted to make 100 beats and let the guys rap on them with no master

Cash Money was more polished than Tank, but the Tank was more raw.

Mannie is dope, but BBLb had about 3 or 4 Classic beats on each project.
The best part about having a production team is different artists work better with one over the others.
Just like the Hitmen, each producer had their style so you knew what to expect from each one.
