People that own guns, what are you overcompensating for?

Just exercising my rights to the fullest extent of the law. It's just a skill in my toolbox.

Why not learn it if you can? I can still box and 6'1'' close to 200lbs too. I don't carry most of the time but it's good to at least have knowledge on how to operate a firearm.

I made a thread about people should be in some form of physical fitness, learn a martial art or two (basic knowledge), and firearms. The thread went largely ignored.

Where It’s Not Safe
Like there's a lot of dudes on here talking about how they have all these guns and it makes them men and better than everyone else. What is the defect in the lives of these people that make them need weapons to feel safe? Were they bullied as children? Do they fear women? Do they really believe that they are superior to other dudes? Me personally, I am a skilled boxer and am a little over 200 lbs and at about 10 percent bodyfat right now so no one wants it one on one with me and people can tell i will fukk them up in real life. So, i'm guessing that most gun owners don't know how to defend themselves without going the cheap route and just buying a gun? Personally, if i had a son and he asked how to 'be a man' and live without fear, i would get him involved in things like boxing, bjj, wrestling etc so that he'd know how to really defend himself and not have to depend on having a gun, which you are not going to just pull out and use without likely getting into trouble yourself. I return negs and reps. Discuss.

I can fight and rarely ever tries me I just keep one in the crib just for home defense. Its a must have.

All that other bs like being bullied etc is just blah blah blah cant speak for no one else but a fist cant beat a gun so I keep one....
