Try getting a gun legally in NJ or NY. It's damn near impossible. So I keep a nasty little tactical folding blade with me. It's not a gun but at least i'm not 100% defenseless.

I believe that you had the experiences you previously mentioned. I never said I would compensate you for your previous experiences, what you experienced is a part of being black daily.
What I will compensate you for is documenting new experiences so people can watch and develop their own opinions on whether they should be armed.
Just like the subway video, some black people watched that and said "fukk this shyt, I'm not letting that happen to me I'm going to get armed. " others watched it and said "see this is why I'm against guns."
I don't want you to be harmed in anyway. But if you're doing something to deflect these interactions or de-escalate these situations I want to see and I want others to be able to see as well because we can pick up those cues from you. It maybe simple actions that you're doing that can save the lives of 1, 5, a dozen, a hundred or a thousand black men.
You can youtube dozens of c00ns who have videos that say things like "how to be a less frightening black man" and "how to not get killed by cops" and they'll say things like "smile" "Don't wear dreads or cornrows" "pull your pants up" "Don't wear 'gang' colors " and stupid c00nish shyt. If you are living your life without soft shoeing and consistently trying to appease others I want those tactics, those techniques to be spread with valid evidence to support it because there is plenty of bullshyt out there.

I'm all for self defense, boxing, bjj, karate, wrestling, knife combat, gun combat, even know basic rights and laws cause a lot of nikkas get caught up just not knowing shyt. Getting held in rooms at the police station for hours just because they don't know they can demand to leave at anytime or refuse to speak without legal counsel.
