what??? no you wouldn't. if any sane guy who had real responsibilities took 10K paycut, he'll start looking for another job almost immediately. why are u people so delusional?
Firstly in all fairness a hurricane is an extreme example and is not representative of everyday life...
but for arguments sake I will use your example of a hurricane... If I lost my mother and father in a hurricane, no amount of money would make me happy...
would it help me get back on my feet? yes.... but it wouldnt make me happy
what??? no you wouldn't. if any sane guy who had real responsibilities took 10K paycut, he'll start looking for another job almost immediately. why are u people so delusional?
what???????????????????????????
i cant continue this conversation with you. u obviously have no concept of reality. i wouldn't be surprised if u lived at home and NOT on your own. so u just dont have a simple clue of what responsibilities lies in life beyond the embrace of your mother and father.
You think they are unhappy cause you posted a picture of a rundown street corner.
What your speaking of is having enough money to take care of yourself, which is very important, but beyond that more money does not equal more happiness.
What part of me pretty much growing up in Jamaica don't you understand?
Explain this thenlisten to yourself man. no man is an island.
if u have enough money just to take care of urself, then ur ass aint rich.
everyone has a loved one or loved one(s)..... u can be safe and perfect from the shennanigans of life (hurricanes, floods, blah blah blah), but u may have loved ones that arent.
if they needed your help, will u put yourself in debt to help them out?
it will ALWAYS be better to be rich because it is from that standpoint that u will be able to comfortably help others.
n1ggas are spending their whole lives in school, reading sh1t they dont wanna read, writting papers they dont want to write. sitting in classes they dont want to be in. and every single one of these people is doing this so they can make more money to provide a gleaming future for their offsprings. and yet, you have the audacity to say money doesn't bring happiness?
i have been through a lot in life. so i appreciate the importance of money. when the cars i have owned in the past left me on the side of the road, and i had to go in to debt to fix them, i understood the importance of money. when i had to work two full time jobs to pay off a brand new car i had to buy, i understood the importance of money. when i lost my job years ago and i spent months frantically lookking for another job, i understood the importance of money. when b1tchass hurrican sandy knocked out electricity and i had to sleep in the cold staring at the walls, i understood the importance of money.
most of u have no real responsibilities in life and have yet to deal with any thing of real importance. while ur naivety is bitter to read, i'm tempted to forgive it. but forgiveness of such a grave offense is an abomination because if ur not cautioned, the path on which u walk leads no where but poverty. and yes, you may not want to believe it. but u are indeed in poverty if ur only an hurricane away from ur life being turned upside down.
cats here in jersey who had a house for 35+ years were reduced to tears when all their belongings were destroyed. let the idiots amongst u reading this understand one thing, FORGET HAPPINESS. MONEY BRINGS SECURITY, COMFORT. THESE ARE THE LAYERS OF FOUNDATION UPON WHICH HAPPINESS IS BASED.
People say money doesn't buy happiness. Except, according to a new study from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School, it sort of does up to about $75,000 a year. The lower a person's annual income falls below that benchmark, the unhappier he or she feels. But no matter how much more than $75,000 people make, they don't report any greater degree of happiness.
Doesn't matter where you grew up. You can't speak on my expierinces unless you were there with me.
no. yes he actually can.
two people can go through an experience and come out with different takes.
if i go through a horrible experience, my first and only response after dealing with it is usually:
what can i do to make sure i never ever ever have to deal with this again.
if u go through the same experience and ur response is something similar to:
whewwww i'm so glad that's over.
well, therein lies the difference between a winner and a loser. a leader and a follower. a poor man and a rich man!
Explain this then
Study: Money Buys Happiness When Income Is $75,000 - TIME
explain what?
by u posting that nonsense its clear ur just a lazy bum looking for reasons that'll backup ur shameful reluctance to get off ur ass and do something productive with ur life.
ol "they said money doesn't buy happiness so i'ma just sit on my couch and smoke weed all day. we all gon die anyway" ass n1gga
