All facts and its not just fiscal responsibility...

You cannot talk about immigration on this forum if you don't agree with open borders...

Anybody that cares about protecting the borders is automatically branded an alt right CAC nazi...

C'mon Prophecy, I may not agree with your immigration stance but I don't recall myself ever implying you are alt right. I actually enjoy your submissions on the HL threads. So where is this coming from?

I never said you did fam, just because you're civil and rational doesn't mean the rest of these dudes are...

There are several posters on here that have repeatedly labeled me an alt right CAC in immigration threads including a moderator...

It's why I try to avoid the subject on here, If I cared enough I'd bump posts to prove my point...

Why is Bundle of Sticks Hogan making a thread about banning posters?

This Bundle of Sticks could put his energy in anything else, but instead wants to censor opinions he doesn't agree?

Why is he so scared of someone disagreeing with him? Why is there a small group of vocal posters that instead of just debating like men, would rather just eliminate your speech, and run to the mods to rescue them from posters having a different perspective?

I have a name for these Snowflake Safe Space Men, Mini-Tyrants or a new one Travel Size Dictators.

I normally don't care for banning people, I have no one on my ignore list,

However, there comes a time when a poster can discolor the discourse so badly that it becomes toxic.

The solution is that a ban (if it even) should be implemented in a democratic fashion.

Mods should not be handed the power to ban.

There should be a poll thread with a discussion raised on whether for example:

A. This [Coli Poster whom the OP started a ban petition for] should be banned
B. This [Coli Poster whom the OP started a ban petition for] should not be banned

I think this would be more effective at rooting out trolls. However the chances of mob rule are moderately high.

A voting threshold of 75% of the daily HL user traffic should be used to gauge the final vote tally and have it take place over the course of 24hrs.

Just put them on the ignore list and leave it at that.

It really isn't that serious

The problem is that a lot of these posters have a ton of alias accounts that would allow them to effect the vote totals.

it's happened before with several things

the forum needs to get get serious and decide whether it wants to be completely overran by racist cacs and alt right trolls or not
