Because in socialism there's a safety net provided by your government when shyt like that happens. Whereas in capitalism you're out on the street. Does this really need to be explained?Huh?
Defend capitalism???
What does this have to do with capitalism?
The move to automation can just as much happen under socialism.
That is NOT what I quoted you on.Because in socialism there's a safety net provided by your government when shyt like that happens. Whereas in capitalism you're out on the street. Does this really need to be explained?

I'm convinced no one in the USA knows what socialism is due to all the propaganda, socialism is when the government or the people owns the means of production not corporations. Social democracy is what you're referring toBecause in socialism there's a safety net provided by your government when shyt like that happens. Whereas in capitalism you're out on the street. And actually, that's even a statist compromise. Real theory level socialism is the liberation of labor from the state as the state is an arm of capital and capitalism to the dissolution of the state as a controlling entity. It's important to frame that this isn't libertarianism however, because libertarianism is where capital is simply unmoored from the government, not when capital is wholly abolished which is the basis of socialism.I'm convinced no one in the USA knows what socialism is due to all the propaganda, socialism is when the government or the people owns the means of production not corporations.
