You said it and I ignored it cause its stupid and you have no data to support your argument. Randle has scored easily on boogir, gortat, gobert, etc...all starting big men so that argument has zero credence.
"We had randle starting for two years and we sucked"...umm no shyt the team was trash. Its retarded how you act like russell and randle were the reasons the lakers were trash. Smh. That team was supposed to be trash they were young.
You have zero data that suggest randle plays worse in extended minutes cause he hasnt played extended minutes.
Its funny you memtion defense cause randle has been the best defender statistically and lineups with him are the best rated defensively.
Playing randle 21 minutes is flat out stupid.
Zero data that suggests Randle plays worse in extended minutes....except the last 2 fukking years of evidence to suggest just that. we were trash because Randle and Russell were starting and they're awful defenders. The team is still fukking young and we're not as trash as were then because the team is actually committed to defense and Lonzo is a better defender than DLo was.
Against the Jazz he was 2/7 for 6 points and again I'm pretty sure he was hardly even out there when Gobert was because he sucks against legit big men.
His best scoring games thus far are against the Raptors that were missing Jonas, the Pistons who are a small team outside of Drummond, and Celtics who are a small team and were missing Horford.
That's it.
Randle is good against certain matchups, aka small ball matchups, otherwise he gets bullied and has troubles finishing because he forces shyt at the rim and against legit bigs they just stuff him. He still doesn't space the floor, he still turns the ball over too much, and he still doesn't get to the free throw line enough. These things haven't changed. He's gotten better at pick and roll defense and guarding off switches, but he's not our best defender at all just because he gets to play against the bench lineups every night. KCP and Ingram are both better than him defensively.
