Most early demos are like that.

It was made to show off what they planned the game to be like.

Not sure what fell through or why they weren’t able to flesh out an entire game based on that.

Probably gotta wait for the next J shcrier article for those answers.

Hi-Fi Rush was an IP sold by Microsoft themselves. Square Enix sold Tomb Raider and other IPs to Embracer. Companies do sell IPs.
