Advanced stats? the Jazz had the best defense in the league when Gobert started, the Clippers had the 15th best defense in the league with Jordan.

How about you tell me how a team with an All-defensive PG and apparently Bill Russell ended up 15th in the league defensively :russ:

That boy Hudson looked solid on defense. He needs to get more burn next season
Lester Hudson, Jordan Hamilton, and CJ Wilcox all needed some run. If Austin Rivers got minutes and got to play through his mistakes then these three dudes should've gotten minutes as well. We actually had a serviceable bench if Doc would've stopped being a b*tch and gotten his head out of his azz:snoop:

:ehh:

Ben Wallace got a MAX deal I think..... They gave Bogut a lot of money based off "potential"...

Roy Hibbert got a MAX deal... Omer Asik got 15 mil for averaging 6 and 7........ fukk it... Let Deandre cook if Doc think he's a championship component......

He still aint a MAX player tho..... :manny:

defending the rim/paint is more important. bigs are your last line of defense, they challenge the highest % shots in the game, they can "erase" mistakes that their perimeter defenders make, some of them make guys think twice about even driving to the bucket, etc...

you can argue that perimeter/team defenders are a lot more valuable now than they used to be, considering the way that offense has changed so much, and that would be a fair point but still...overall, interior defense is still king.

We don't have any wing defenders though breh. CP3 holds it down some but cats are runnin' right past JJ Redikk, Matt Barnes, and Jamal Crawford. DJ would look a little better if we had some athletic wings instead of small azz shooters.
How u gone get athletic wings w/ 3 nikkaz makin 20mil?:dahell:

Flip DJ for perimeter help.

Blake or DJ should be moved.

Got to put in some homework my nicca. Like @Malta said we could gotten Robert Covington from the D-League. He ended the year starting for the Sixers. We alreadygot 6' 8" Jordan Hamilton sitting on the bench in street clothers. He could've backed up Matt Barnes. Could've brought in Hassan Whiteside in training camp but Doc didn't like him.. look how that move turned out. Could've requested Kris Middleton from the Bucks during that Jared Dudley-plus a 1st rounder trade but Doc wasn't thinking or using common sense, Doc waived SF Joe Ingles before the start of the season.. he ended up making the Jazz roster and would've helped our bench if Doc kept him. Hell even Reggie Bullock and Jordan Farmer would've helped us in the post season....

I can go on and on with this sh*t breh. How deep down the rabbit hole do you want to go?:yeshrug: Despite Doc's fukkups on drafting, trades, and the salary cap, the players were still there for the taking to having a good-respectable bench. We need a GM breh in the worst way possible.. this sh*t ain't rocket science when you have Blake, CP3, and DJ in the starting five. Doc is just the ultimate f*ck up.

Nah, Bogut is elite, he was third behind Gobert and Ibaka in regards to opponents FG% at the rim.
I was about to say that interior D>>>>perimeter D but DeAndre isn't an elite interior defender. He's a good man defender and elite rebounder.
