Okay let me see if I got this correct so far

Man comes into Dallas, US "not knowing" he had Ebola (probably knew he had it, just wanted to use the medical resources in the USA)
Turns out he does have it and then dies shortly after
A whole bunch of medical personnel were working on this patient
Of this personnel, one of the nurses got the disease and is quarantined in Dallas
Then another nurse (who was instructed to not fly commercial, flew commercial to Cleveland), shortly after this she found out she had Ebola, and now she is getting transported to Atlanta
Then 2 students who were studying Ebola were allowed to come back into the USA and one of the students potentially has the virus and the other student is just gucci right now chilling and no one is going to quarantine the other student.

Who said she was instructed not to fly? According to the news the CDC gave her permission to fly.

I will because that would definitely affect my opinion on her actions.

CDC gave her the OK to fly.

It was later confirmed that the CDC gave Vinson permission to get on the plane because she was showing no other symptoms of the virus, and her temperature didn't reach the threshold of 100.4 degrees.

"She wasn't bleeding or vomiting," Frieden said. "The level of risk around her would be extremely low, but because of the extra margin of safety, we will be contacting [all those who were on the flight]."

I'm pretty sure that he didn't know. But when he got back to the US and showed some of the signs and symptoms, they said he was fine and sent him home when usually anyone else would have been kept in the hospital until they knew for sure that he didn't have it.

The people at NIH have all the supplies and training to not blunder this like Texas did. But if the CDC is doing dumb shyt like letting people exposed to Ebola fly commercial airlines then who can we really trust? :patrice:

lol i work in the medical field and they been beating us over the head with this ebola training and stuff. i really just think they F'd up taking off the suits, its not like the virus burrowed through their PPEs. the cdc did mess that up though, i would always err on the side of caution, they could have atleast dropped a couple stacks and get her a private flight if she really needed to go somewhere. and i definitely trust the NIH to handle this alot better.

they need to do a better job of informing people though. its not a resp virus, people are just wearing the helmets as a precaution and from what they've been telling us you have to be symptomatic to spread it so unless she was slobbin on people on the plane and shyt i'd assume the chances of transmission would be ridiculously low. but again you would rather her not be on the plane in the first place

off topic i would like to do some research at the NIH one of these days tho, @Napoleon you down? :troll:

Obama is going to be forced to shut down flights coming in from West Africa just to calm the nation down if one more person gets infected.

Dallas County Official Being Monitored for Ebola

Dallas County's top public health epidemiologist confirmed Thursday that she spent time at Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan's bedside and that she is among those potentially exposed to the virus.

Dr. Wendy Chung has remained on the front lines of the government's response to the outbreak since Duncan's diagnosis, working alongside federal, state and local health authorities as she undergoes monitoring for any signs of the potentially deadly disease.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, who is responsible for the county's disaster and emergency preparedness, said he and Chung have been working side-by-side throughout the outbreak.
