The blueprint is out there for people to see. Cam has one of the strongest arms to ever enter the NFL. However, the issue is between his ears.

Don't say cism because that is from Steve Smith.

The system that they play in forces them into this predicament. Make one read or maybe two, if it isn't there, run. Alabama just won a game where they gave up 44 points and 630 yards. Damn near everyone is open in college. The windows are much smaller in the pro game and you are forced to make your progressions. If you are in a pro style system, it helps you greatly because you do everything, just in limited doses. In college, they aren't caring about developing because for the most part, they have a system. Most of these QBs are system QBs
How do we know Steve Smith told "friends" this?

I'm really tired of the belief that these middle age writers somehow have their ears to the inner circle of black athletes.

To my knowledge, Steve never refuted it. Additionally, Steve said this about Flacco.
Steve Smith: QB Flacco is 'refreshing'

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...as-not-taking-shot-former-teammate-cam-newton

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith insisted he wasn't taking a shot at former teammate Cam Newton when he said it was refreshing to be around a quarterback who was calm during Sunday's 23-21 win over Cleveland.

What a load of sh1t. It all depends on the individual. RG3 was injury prone before he got drafted. No surprise he got injured. Kaep hasn't gotten injured. Neither has Russell. Nor luck. And Cam doesn't count cause he got hurt cause his team was trying to use him as a goalline back :mjlol:Russell is having an amazing year rushing and the real reason Kaep isn't having sucess running is because they've stopped running the Veer. They are trying to make him a pocket passer. No way anyone can convince me being a faster, better athlete at the QB positon is a detriment

This is how the shyt always works.

Every 10 years people think "Scrambling QB X,Y,Z are gonna change the game"

2 years later defense prepare for these guys and they're not as effective, then the desire for that type of player dies down.

The hype train is the problem in the first place

I think it's about the balance. The QB's drop is to throw. Being fast is a good attribute, but as a QB rushing should be a last resort. You look at what A-Rod is doing and it's all about balance. A-Rod is the prototype all future QBs should look to. Ultimately, QBS who can run have a higher ceiling than the immobile ones. You just have to put the time in to develop as a pocket passer.

So the fact that Harbaugh is making Kap run LESS, is an argument not to take mobile QBs :mjlol:

Kap has a Super Bowl appearance, 2 NFC title games, and a playoff rushing record. Not good enough :mjlol:

How the fukk is Jake Locker interesting as a prospect :mjlol:

It works the same way for pocket passers. They all face defenses that eventually catch up to them. It's the same learning curve

Yeah the fact that all these guys are regressing is a bad sign..you're supposed to get better

Look at your qb Kapernick if you play a Zone on him he literally has no idea what to do

That's the thing, it all comes down to decision making and reading defenses whether you are a scrambler or a pocket passer. It's funny how the play of guys like Cutler or Palmer or Sanchez or the injury proneness of guys like Bradford or Locker are never held up as referendums on their style of play.

that zone defense has done it to everybody, judging kaep on one game is simply foolish

serious reply to the second part, this is why QB's need to go back to sitting, there is good talent that gets ruined because they're thrown in as a day 1 starter knowing damn well these dudes need to learn to play in NFL systems. these moible qb's with 1-2 years of sitting would be beasting...like rodgers!
