Yo @Regular_P . Why don't you change the title of this thread, and make this the official Free agency thread.
The NFL Tempering period starts at Midnight tonight. We should use this thread to drop all the fukkery that is going to go on leading up to Tuesday..

dude is a situational pass rusher
You will hear a number of free-agent names, read a number of lists ranking them, see the various experts dissect and pluck and analyze. There is one name above them all. One guy who could change everything for a Super Bowl contender in need of a game changer.
That name is Steven Jackson.
Jackson is the great free-agent sleeper. He has eight consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, ranking him with Hall of Fame names like Thurman Thomas. He has more yards as a Ram than Eric dikkerson or Marshall Faulk.
Jackson is 29 (turns 30 in July) and has just one or two more good years left. But he could be to some contender what Corey Dillon was to New England during its Super Bowl XXXIX run. Except he's better than Dillon.
Imagine Jackson replacing guard, er, running back Michael Turner in Atlanta. He would be a nice change of pace for that explosive passing offense.
New England has 87 running backs but none as good as Jackson.
its even worse than I thought

Coach Tom Coughlin recently admitted to frustration at the New York Giants' inability to find common ground in contract talks with restricted-free-agent wide receiver Victor Cruz.
If the Giants truly are more focused on extending receiver Hakeem Nicks' contract, will that expose their flank for another team to take a run at Cruz?
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport hears there is already "a ton of interest" on Cruz, with "plenty of teams just waiting for their opening" once free agency kicks off
Cruz is sure to draw the first-round tender from the Giants. The question is if the traditionally slow restricted free-agent market will bear fruit for an impact slot receiver.
"There is enough interest in Cruz to make me think this could be the year someone bites on an RFA," Rapoport adds.
