If it goes through, that probably means Lloyd is done. It also means the Pats are revamping their offense somewhat. You got Beddard or however you spell that guy's name to be the back up tight end for Gronk or Hernandez (and you can even put him on the line and throw Hernandez in the slot), but then we've just upgraded the speed on our WR core all around. Sanders and Jones, are like the first time we've had WRs that run under 4.5s in a minute. Lloyd probably gets cut if this goes through.
Amendola is also quicker and has better hands than Welker. I don't know if it'll work out or what type of offense we'd be adjusting to (more Brady under center I'd imagine where he's the best play-action QB in the game), but coming out with Gronk, Hernandez, Amendola, Sanders and Jones with Vereen or Ridley in the back field isn't the worst thing.
