That name alone sounds a like place no Black person should even be within a mile off.
...Virginia State University, an HBCU is there. Pretty black city, plus a suburb of Richmon, VA...pretty black too.

I wouldn't go that far. Richmond is pretty diverse though...

Seriously shiit sound like one of "them" towns in them Slave and segregation movies.
What’s worse Norfolk,Newport News, Portsmouth, or Petersburg.
Lmao that's where I went to high school. You're better off taking the 20 minute trip to Richmond...
Food is really good but it's definitely economically depressed and the city is surrounded on all sides by backwater racist Crackervilles. The Burg with the shyts, so that energy doesn't actually occur inside the city but people know if you get caught in one of the surrounding areas it could be a bad day...
Home of Trigga Trey, Blair Underwood, Tyra B, Tim Reid, and this new artist Pusha T is pushing, Kairi 1K:
In that video those all blocks in Petersburg he bending...
Lmao except its 77% black, lotta white folk afraid of Petersburg (black people too)...
Census profile: Petersburg, VA
For real? Is there any good places to live in Va?Ain't nothing to do in VA.

Kind of funny how southern they sound in that video and much less southern when Trey Songz did this old video
I never understood when people said Trey don't sound southern, one of his first videos you can hear it:
You could hear it in Tyra's first video too:
Or maybe I'm just used to the accent. But VA is funny, you get a wide range of accents in alot of the cities more than most places. The average Richmonder doesn't sound as southern as the average Burg cat, and Rich is only 20 minutes away lol. But you still get the variance in Rich too...
D'Angelo doesn't sound particularly southern but he has a Richmond twang:
Then of course you have Skillz who doesn't sound particularly southern but has a Richmond bop too:

What are some nice neighborhoods in Richmond?Yes, it's the greatest state in the South, except it's not completely southern, in which case I'd say it's one of the great East Coast states, period. Smack in the middle of the East Coast...
Richmond and Virginia Beach, in that order, are the two greatest cities easily. There are plenty of other nice spots depending on what you're after but Rich and VB are as good as it gets in Virginia by a mile...
