as much as I like some of the ratchet music coming out of our "culture", it's starting to look like we're gonna start having to call everyone out for any blatant disrespect against us, word to the Jewish community that doesn't tolerate ANY disrespect against them.

the fact that we don't call these nikkas out is literally the EXACT reason Nicki felt like she could pull this shyt and go unchecked too, because "they do it too, why y'all don't tell them nothing". and it makes us seem as if we have more of a personal problem with Nicki than her disgusting act of using Malcolm X's image as the "unofficial" cover art to her song.

I like ratchet music, but I love my people more, and I don't mind getting these motherfukkers who disrespect us outta her, by any means necessary, if they can't respect the communities they came from, then there's absolutely no reason we should support these clowns or the bullshyt excuses they give when they're called out.

Nicki claims that she made the song to "start a conversation", but like many other posters have stated, she wouldn't DARE make a song detailing the white supremacy structure that pays her to make destructive music, she would be thrown to the bushes and her entire career would be finished if she even fixed her lips to disrespect her masters.

she's a very beautiful and attractive female that many of us wouldn't hesitate to have sex with, given the chance, but beyond that, fukk her..

So, should black people expect black women, like Nicki Minaj, to have that much more respect for a black icon like Malcolm X?

Or are black men supposed to turn a blind eye to black women being disrespectful to a black icon because of the biological makeup of their forebears, which is why they're black in the first place?

Should I expect a "you hate black women" type of response for asking these honest questions?

I am not outraged by this in the least bit. shyt is just not important in the scope of things. Nobody is gonna lose respect for Malcolm X over this cover and the shyt will be forgotten. T.I. did the same photoshoot with NO negative recourse for it.
