Brady didn't have throw it to Welker's back shoulder
He should've hit him in stride and it would've been an easy TD but instead he threw it behind him so Welker had turn his body all the way around while running at full speed and try and catch it. That was a terrible pass by Brady. Period.

Not the scariest core out there, but it's going to be the most efficient. MVP is Peyton's unless A-Rod goes nuts.
Obviously theres 3 but 2 of them are well behind Welker and the third, which is the safety, is a few yards away to Welker's right. Welker was effectively wide open. There was no reason to throw it to his back shoudler and I'm sure Brady didn't intend to throw it that way. It was just a poor throw and if Welker had made the catch it would've been an amazing catch.
If you wanna blame Welker for anything, blame him for that drop in the AFC Championship game this year. Now THAT'S a catch he should've made.
