A pandemic over 100 years ago and has 'sketchy' accounting of deaths in EVERY country that reported them.

But I'M cherry-picking.

How is that cherry picking when it's the best example in modern time of actual pandemic bruh. Covid is almost two years deep, is it anywhere close to even 10 million dead or are you gonna keep skating around that?

It is if you spread it out over several years WITHOUT a vaccine because 'DeY dIdN't TeSt It LoNg EnUfF!!!'

So, let's apply that 2% over 15 YEARS....

(.02 * 8,000,000,000) 15 =

2,400,000,000!!!!!

This is 'not bad' according to anti-vaxx logic?????

:mindblown:
In your scenario that's literally the worst case scenario if almost everybody in the world catches it (Which will never happen)

A third of the world's population dying from Covid in the next 15 years is simply unfathomable

You keep using numbers kinda weird in this thread. In raw numbers, more people have died but, from your Washington Post link:

So a MUCH smaller percentage of people have died and it's MUCH less deadly than the 1918 flu, especially among children and younger people who were hit hardest back then.
I'm not antivax, just making sure information is being provided in the correct context :hubie:

It's cause he like the rest of these scary ass nikkas who wanna pick and choose what numbers to use. 120 million people died in 3 years of the Spanish Flu pandemic. 120 MILLION, yet he thinks Covid is anywhere close to as deadly despite all the numbers saying he just being a scary ass little bytch. :mjlol:

I use numbers correctly. Every time. You didn't read far enough since we're making sure things are presented in the 'correct context'......

The biggest difference for now is in the staying power of the coronavirus. By the time we reached 1 in 500 people who had died of the flu in 1918, the pandemic was already on a downward trajectory, and there would not be another wave. Today, we’re seeing a wave reaching 2,000 daily deaths for the third time.

All of which suggests, even if the virus hasn’t yet approached the per capita deadliness of the 1918 pandemic, it’s possible it might one day, albeit because of a slower burn and quite possibly a greater ultimate infection rate.

Bruh there was an flu pandemic that killed over 100 million people in 3 years. Covid isn't even gonna get CLOSE to those numbers, NOT EVEN CLOSE. Your math is acting like the ENTIRE WORLDS POPULATION is going to catch Covid every year for 15 years... Covid has been around since 2019 and has 2% of the worlds population even caught it? I swear you scary ass nikkas kill me bro, tuck your panties in bruh you gonna be ok. :mjlol:

What years and what pandemic?

:jbhmm:

And now the number is bigger. You got a reliable link for that?

The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide with about 675,000 occurring in the United States.

United States COVID: 43,229,487 Cases and 696,799 Deaths - Worldometer

"Bu-bu-but the Spanish Flu killed more people WORLDWIDE."

And COVID-19 surpassed it in less than 2 years. A 100-Year old pandemic. In the United States of America. With more variants laying in the cut.

That's the hill y'all wanna die on?

Worldwide cases of Covid-19 are at a little over 230 million, with 4 million deaths in 2 years bruh... compare that to the 50 million dead worldwide you just quoted to me. :unimpressed:

They didn't know it was a carcinogen from the get go?
:mjtf:

it's about the level of nitrosamines, not the presence of it. like people say there is a certain level of nitrosamines in a lot of substances people consume. and different factors can impact the level, like if you store certain meds at a temperature they shouldn't be stored at. the nitrosamine level will go up. in this case it looks like the fda says folks can still take it, since the harm is from long term use

Let's do this then......

(.02 * 4,000,000,000) 15 =

1,200,000,000

1/8 of the world's population above and beyond 'natural' causes like car accidents, heart attacks, murder, old age, cancer, etc.

Not even 300 million people in 2 years has even caught Covid, but suddenly it's gonna start infecting half of the worlds population, YEARLY? :stopitslime:

No reliable data exists to corroborate that number.......or the 120 million you stated. That's why it's estimated. In the meantime, we have actual data that can be examined......maybe not.....

This is what MY city looked like over the weekend....
