He is too inconsistent to depend on and is not aggressive enough at the rim
I’d take Kyrie as my #2 over PG

Solid number 2 for sure, but giving him the max? :yousureee:

Also, calling himself “Playoff P” and only having like 6 points in an elimination ain’t the best look either.

I’m a fan of dudes game but I couldn’t make em my no. 1 guy:hubie:. He’s a very high level B+ guy but is missing those intangibles that put him in that A-tier

Be a top 15 supermax player but get locked up by a plumber and put up 5 pts on 12% shooting in an elimination game in the first round brehs

His shot creating ability is literally constrained to creating jumpshots, he usually has little want to try to get to the rim, so when you got games where he isn’t hitting, he really doesn’t have any impact on that end. He also isn’t as good defensively as he once was where you could have a bad system around him, but he’d still carry you the way (case in point: after Roberson went down). He’s not a bad iso defender, but he isn’t a great one anymore.

He’s a fantastic system piece and would fit in LA’s offense perfectly. They already got a myriad of slashers and an unholy lack of jumpshooting. He could be a great figurehead on their already great defense. But he isn’t a paradigm shifter or anything

I think y’all should take him but he ain’t worth the max

He damn sure ain’t worth the max. Frankly I’m more interested in keeping Ingram if Magic is thirsty for george. I don’t see him being worth the money over Ingram developing into a similar or even better player.

What have you seem from Ingram to make you think he'll ever be better than Paul George is now?

Breh, PG is better than any player on the Lakers BY FAR, and likely better than any of them ever will be.

And he's the best free agent available not named Lebron.

That’s what I’m saying. I personally don’t see Ingram reaching that level
