To win a title in today’s league your second option has to be Steph Curry or Chris Paul, who are really 1st options in any other case

PG is good but he ain’t that

both them nikkas propped up by they teams and offenses nikkas drop buckets on them all the time, warriors extended they run getting kd but the league always always catches up

im sayin if okc front office can put some moves together after melo off the books they in a better position than most teams,

last year they put alot of stock in melo and he a bum lol i think that threw off the whole play on top of 1st year playin together

Plus the fact that Westbrook doesn't playing smart, winning basketball.

This is regurgitated entirely too much without context. Westbrook went from raw athlete, to determined scorer, to combo guard, and has increasingly improved as a point guard since KD left. Good coaching is not something you can just overlook. LeBron, KD, and Kyrie have all explicitly stated how impactful coaching is.

If you're just given the greenlight to ISO then you will just become more of who you already are. And then when you find that not to be effective in the long run then you realize that there isn't a foundation to fill in the gaps. So you actually have to take two steps back.

Westvrook has played the same exact way regardless of his personnel or coaching, and makes AWFUL decisions in the clutch. It can't be defended. I refuse to believe that both Scott Brooks and Billy Donovan are both completely inept offensive coaches that absolutely won't run an offense. Especially considering that Brooks used to have a ball movement screen heavy offense early on in OKC back when Harden was sharing point guard duties.

The league is about beating the Dubs now, and they did that twice. When Melo was abusing Draymond, shyt looked way promising early on. Melo regressed like a mug. I think missing those back to back buzzer beating tres was the nail in the coffin for him mentally.

I think Westbrook has changed his playstyle, and I explained why in my previous post.

His shot selection needs to improve, but everyone knows this...but at the same time you have three ball dominant ISO scorers in the starting lineup, so that doesn't lend itself to creating a culture of great shots. Which is where the coach comes in IMO.

Even then, my point isn't necessarily to shyt on any one person, but to stop the Westbrook-is-cancer narrative that is entirely unfair when there are obvious other things that you could point to.
