Pharma Douche” Martin Shkreli Gets His Own Play Based On Wu-Tang Album

According to reports, the life of Martin Shkreli is being turned into a play titled “Pharma Bro: An American Douchical.”

The 85-minute play, which is billed as a spoof of Shrkeli’s entire life, also takes its title from his other nickname – “Pharma Douche.”

According to the New York Post, the main plot of the off-Broadway parody will center around Skreli’ purchase of a rare Wu-Tang Clan album.

Martin Shkreli is a 33-year-old former pharmaceutical executive who rose to national fame, when he rose the price when he raised the price of an HIV drug Daraprim overnight and refused to back down, sparking congressional hearings.

But Skreli is also implicated in securities fraud, for allegedly embezzling millions of dollars in a Ponzi scheme.

Stil, Martin Shkreli has been spending his dough on a variety of hip-hop related projects.

In November of 2015, he paid over $2 million for the only copy of the precious Wu-Tang Clan Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, and the “Pharma Bro” plot will center around Shkreli’s dramatic acquisition of the album.
“Pharma Bro: An American Douchical” will debut on June 26.
