I don’t think anyone is mad (except you, maybe?). At least I’m not. Am I not allowed to just disagree with his sentiment? Things like Affirmative action and DEI weren’t created randomly. They were a response to an existing problem. A problem that we are just reminding people still exists. Maybe not to the extent of 40-50 years ago, but still exists, nonetheless.

Who said anything about striving for mediocre. People are just saying that being “the best” isn’t always enough. This is a known idea in even in Economics, because people are humans and not “Econs”. Humans make flawed and illogical decisions based on emotions. And race garners a lot of emotion, both positively and negatively.

I feel that tho. There was this african shop at the mall i used to go into simply cuz they were black. I stopped going there because i opened up some deodorant to smell it to see if i would like it and the bytch running the shop got mad and was like - THATS NASTY !! YOU WOULDN'T DO THAT IN THE WHITE MANS STORE. I was like wtf are you talking about. Literally every store I've ever purchased deodorant out of I've done the same process.
