All of a sudden the Lakers don't have shooters. Before the season they were gonna threaten the 96 Bulls wins record, but now their roster is filled with trash?

Laker stans before the season:

"HAHAHA we got Murda Meeks too! It's a wrap!"

"Nash is gonna average 15 assists a game"

"We're gonna score 120 a night! Who's gonna stop us?!"

"Kobe finally gets to chill. He won't have to jack up a lot of shots. It's not something he likes to do, he's just been doing it because he doesn't have help"

"Our big 4 > the Heat's big 3. Our pieces fit better."

"Jamison averaged 19 a game last year!! Just give him the 6th man award now."

But now y'all got roster issues?

Dwight has been passing well out of double teams while with the Lakers, it's just that dudes can't make wide open shots.

And Dwight gets plenty of touches in the post. Most of the turnovers this team gets is from them trying to get Dwight the ball. Plus Dwight is constantly getting stripped when he gets the ball.

Now you're trolling. Other than Nash, none of those players are considered shooters. Also we're talking about kick outs, who would leave Kobe to guard Dwight? Meeks is inconsistent. MWP is shooting 39% and 34% from 3 and those are off open shots.

Nah, Meeks was considered a shooter.

Anybody that has watched Lakers games this year KNOWS how streaky this team has been with outside shooting. Dudes be wide open missing shot after shot, then 3 games later it'll look like they can't miss. their percentages are deceptive as fukk because of their streaky nature.

I never said Meeks wasn't a shooter. I said he's inconsistent. I guarantee you that most of his makes either come when we're up big or we're down big. Aside from both Bobcats games, I've never seen him a 3 when the score is close.

Meeks is a decent shooter but he isn't good at NBA Basketball. He's more a scorer anyway.

The biggest problem with LA is team defense. Most of those dudes don't play it but Dwight. The Lakers have a bunch of man defenders and Steve Nash. The Magic all knew how to play team defense but couldn't defend their man at all but Dwight ain't even 70% of what he was last year so :ninja1:

They should be running the fukking triangle with a good dose of pick and roll but nooooooooooo

In the triangle, Metta and Earl Clark would be wide open from outside all game long just like they are now. Why do people always talk about the triangle like it is some high tech indefensible offense?

Pretty much. Plus no offensive system's gonna help the personnel on this team.

not sure i agree with phil but he might be right

i would say get inside position early if i were dwight, when youre running down the floor go straight to the hoop and use your body..see if u can get position early so u dont end up doing that hook shot through the middle of the lane and bricking :scusthov: howard 10 ft from the rim isnt what i see being a good position for him...
