Lakers main problems

1. Jim Buss - unlike his father and even his sister he's going to be the next well let me say the old donald sterling of running franchies

2. Mike D'antoni - he can only coach non-contenders, he's not built for big markets

3. firing mike brown was a mistake.. brown only problem was the offense all the lakers had to do to hire a offensive minded coach, cause the defense was good under brown

4. Dwight isn't a L.A. guy.... he rather be somewhere like atlanta, dallas where he can just put up numbers without worried about the media getting on his ass about not living up to expectations.

lol he really might be, im starting to get sick of these retired dudes always with a comment on whats happening. if he wanted to coach still he could have, why start commenting publicly with this stuff?

This is Phil we're talking about here.

Not to mention the whole player-analogy of linking Shaq, Horry, Fisher, Fox to the current Lakers roster and what the Triangle would offer doesn't match up either. Phil knows this too. He's just putting the onus on the 'opposition' rather than the reality of the situation itself (that it's not the system but the incapabilities of the players).

Totally misused Dwight... we treated him like the best center in a decade instead of what he really is... a totally untalented gimmick freak athlete diva who we shoulda used as more leverage to trade up the ladder for talent.

Dwight really can't pass out of the double team; not well enough to play from the post. He can make the simple kick-out, but he's horrible at hitting the cutter, hitting the weak side teammate, back-door cutters...he can pass it to anyone stationary, directly in his line of sight.

They are better off using him like Chandler and throwing lobs all day. You know one thing I've never really see him do? Spin off his man and go straight to the basket to catch the lob. Orlando Shaq did this constantly.

The thing is the best Dwight has looked all season has been when he's doing this, but he doesn't LIKE doing that for whatever reason. In his mind he really thinks his back to the basket game is elite status. You can tell which guys don't watch Lakers games because they be the ones saying Dwight needs more touches down there in order for the Lakers to win.
