Of course, unlike the Knick fan that watched every game the past 3 years, not many people realize how upsetting watching Chandler miss passes & lack an offensive game.
Not many people realize that Tyson missed blocks of games for nothing more than "flu-like" symptoms.
Not many people remember Chandler & Felton changing the psyche of the Knicks chemistry with their constant complaint of missed ref calls.
Now..even with that...I did appreciate the positives of Chandler...but don't come here acting like getting picks, a decent PG, and getting rid of Felton wasn't a win for both teams.
Tyson has beasted in both games against the Knicks so it tells me he is very happy back in Dallas. That's a win for both teams.
At the time, people were ecstatic about the drafting of Cleanthony Early.
With Melo...Phil hedged his bets. I mean...it's easy to say Melo isn't worth a Max...but honestly, as stingy as Chicago is with signings...we already know Chicago would have given him the max to play with their squad if they had the money.
It's very possible to imagine Chicago being an instant contender w/ Melo isn't it?
Well...if so...why are we not realizing that a Knicks team with cap space & picks could still build something even with a declining Melo...
Why?
Increased cap.
Let Phil cook. Not even saying he WILL change the atmosphere but damn... Give the breh a chance.
Brehs playing too much 2k GM.
