He's essentially made 2 moves since becoming president. 2. How is that enough to judge him on?

We gonna act like Calderon didnt have a solid season last year and that EVERYONE thought he was an upgrade from Felton?:comeon:

We gonna act like Tyson, as much as I liked him, quit on the team because he wasnt getting touches?:comeon:

You say Tyson was a bad trade, but Phil was able to turn a disgruntled player into a pg upgrade, a first round pick (Larkin), and 2 seconds. You really think we would've gotten anything close to that is we waited until the deadline? for an expiring? No way.

Melo I was indifferent on. If he stayed, cool. If he left, cool. I hate his contract, but I don't think Phil signs him to anywhere near that if he had his chance, and if you listened to his press conferences from when he took over the team you realize the same, but I'm sure Phil got pressure from Dolan to resign Melo at all costs. Even with him signing Melo, there's NO WAY anyone saw the team being this bad and anyone that says different is full of shyt. I'm sure Phil thought we could be an 8th seed, and would be enticing to free agents but I doubt any big time free agent wants to come here here after this season, but we'll see what Phil is made of this offseason.

:patrice:Well the jury is still out...
But he fukked up by trading Tyson for fukking Calderon and Dalembert :snoop:
Jose fukking Calderon and Samuel Dalembert :dead:
Meanwhile, Tyson looking like a top 5 center in the L right now :mjcry:
Trade a locker room leader and a guy that held players accountable for 2 :flabbynsick: players, brehs
I doubt you were saying this in the offseason. Tyson stopped being a locker room guy midway through last season when he would throw the team under the bus any chance he could get. Calderon was coming off a solid season, fit the triangle (whether you like the system or not) and we got picks. The only complaint most fans had was that Calderon's contract went that extra year and cut into '15 money

This is why The Knicks won't ever be shyt. Too many self entitled fans for an organization that aint never done shyt.

Once new york becomes patient and allows for a true rebuild....they will have a chance
Self entitled?:camby:plenty of fans have wanted this team to do a rebuild for YEARS.

Who wouldn't have been disgruntled having to cover for Felton not being able to guard the pick and role or any pg one on on for 2 years straight and catching unnecessary fouls for him. Did you guys watch any games last year :damn:

When they had to decide Larkin hadn't showcased himself well enough to push for picking up the option. It doesn't mean we will lose him, and it doesn't mean we will have to offer him a ridiculous contract to keep him

In contrast, Masai Ujiri is the man right now. This has been Toronto's best season so far, and Ujiri hasn't even been here for a year. Colangelo was useless with his stupid euro-ball
