The Knicks future was fukked the second they made that Melo trade.

That trade guaranteed years of mediocrity. Phil made the right decision to bottom out and look to the draft instead of setting for being a mediocre treadmill team. And unlike Hinkie, Phil has drafted well with his extremely limited assets.

The next step is to find a way to get rid of Melo.

I don't think they fukked their future with the melo trade. He was a top 10 player at the time and Denver didn't do anything with those players. Plus they weren't getting past the heat.
