Phil Spencer has made some good moves but he's pretty much left the actual game lineup barren. The refund policy, dropping Kinect, dropping the TV focus, cutting the price. The problem is most of what he's done have been common sense moves again not really with risk involved.

Let's not act like the original Uncharted was this huge selling game initially. It probably sold as well as a Sunset Overdrive or Quantum Break but Sony stuck with it and Uncharted 2 came out and the rest was history. Part of this is believing in your product and the studios that make it and giving them that chance to make the next big thing instead of taking a half measure and putting stuff out and when it initially doesn't set the world on fire completely abandoning it.

Even going back to something like Lost Odyssey. Who is to say that couldn't currently be a franchise with multiple sequels by now? They put out a single game. It sells ok and they abandon the IP. It's the same old story with them.

So let me see if I got this straight then: The Xbox is just for multiplayer games which are mostly FPS then?

Yes. The direction is multi-player and service based stuff first and foremost. That's fine but people will get sick of the same old IPs in the same old genres, if they haven't already.

Moving forward we know of sea of thieves, crackdown3, state of decay2, all the games you mentioned, and every game in our library getting 4k upgrades with extras. From a single player perspective too many haters name multiplat titles that are actually on the Xbox

The only single player games MS doesn't have are titles they'd never have (Nintendo games, oh wait, play banjo kazooie today ) but seriously, we don't give a shyt about Nier, nioh/etc. I'd rather have sea of thieves and crackdown3/etc in 4k.

One of my boys has the One and hes been asking me what games he should get and I just dont have a good answer for him.

I remember showing him Yakuza 0 and he thought it was the realness. Looked it up....And I swear to god I felt bad to tell him that its not available on xbox.

Hes a casual gamer but he wants an action adventure game. Oh how about Nioh? Nope not even that. Even saying fukk it to me and asking about RPGs which surprised me but hey, who didnt play Final Fantasy in the late 90s early 2000s???? But what am I gonna tell him?? shyt kinda makes me sad honestly, Id like to recommend shyt but everything is on PS4. I dont give a fukk about console stan nonsense, it just is what it is.

Other casual brehs I know have their 2k and shooters but they also got Uncharted and shyt like that too. Its a reach to say that casual gamers are only interested in multiplayer games. We all grew up on all types of shyt, shouldnt put gamers into a box just cause you got one friend who only plays Madden.

Plus that point made about Xbox taking risks is bullshyt. They made dumb gambles. They thought people would buy car games, but everyone knows those car simulator driving games are lame as hell, casuals dont give a fukk about that either, thats a niche audience. And those other titles are lame. Need japanese dev support. We grew up on that shyt, now we are adults with our own money but yall wont give us shyt that we will give you money for?
