That whole being 5 inches away from Camden ain’t helping either. I remember going to the Roots Picnic last year and going to the north side for a cheesesteak (at someone’s urging) and I was like

That shyt was a fukking mess and the cheesesteak was meh. I’m sure there are some nice suburbs and shyt but just driving around I couldn’t help but feel like there were some MAJOR infrastructure issues on top of whatever socio-economic issues were going on. No reason to be that damn close to NY and be in that condition.

its definitely a 2nd tier city but it does well in that space

I've lived in Philly for 8 years, 4 if you count college. It's an underrated city that I've learned to appreciate but it aint fukking with DC in any facet besides cost of living.
