A friend just posted a pic of a cheese steak from Genos and that shyt was struggle as fukk

You're not supposed to get provolone on a Cheesesteak in Philly. Only Wiz. That's why that cheesesteak looks so struggle.

Geno's is overrated though

John's Roast Pork, Tony Luke's, and Steve's Prince of Steaks.

Geno's and Pat's aint even in the conversation. Their fries are the only thing that's good.

Philip's and Oregon Steaks are good too, not quite on the same level as those 3 I named, but they're both open 24 hours and they have big menus.

That's false man, I lived in Philly my whole life and people get whatever cheese they want, usually American or Whiz, but plenty of people get Provolone.

That steak looks so struggle cause the steaks dry and way too fatty and it's all bread, Geno's always does that, they're a fukking rip off and the steaks are shyt.

A really good cheese steak is actually better with American than Whiz, as long as it's high quality steak and a good roll, throw in some fried onions and you're good. But for real the quality of the bread is almost as important as the steak.

I'm white I fukk with Whiz but only sparingly, I go with American and sometimes fried onions. Fries with whiz are no joke though.
See you made my point lol. I'm being dead serious I don't know a black cat that's ever got wiz on a steak. Its the usual American with/without when at them type of spots but at the papi stores I don't even know if wiz is an option. Yeah fries with wiz I've done but cheesesteaks nah

I used to only get Provo until I was 17 and went with a buddy to a cheesesteak joint in Warminster. He convinced me to get wiz and I haven't turned back since

Haha i hear that man, I think you're right about most of the hole in the wall spots not having whiz, and they almost always chop the steak up real fine with the american almost liquified in there, they're no joke.
