Chinks in the northeast. They finally changed their name to Joe's after years of complaints about the name:mjlol:

That's about right. I think I pay close to $10 at Tony Luke's and/or Jim's when you add extra toppings. I think Pat's & Geno's are around $7 but you don't want either of those...
Yeah I've been to Jim's, Sonny's and Ishkabibble, they were all like 8-9 dollars. They were all good but Jim's was the best by far, in my opinion.

I thought those places were expensive just because they're famous and touristy, though. But famous because they're actually good, not just tourist traps like Pat's and Geno's.

Get the whiz if you go to Jim's, it's not actual Cheez Whiz but some sort of melted cheese mixture and it goes perfect with the steak

Do Cheesesteaks in Philly usually cost 8+ dollars?

At touristy or cac spots sure. I just had a :banderas::banderas::banderas: level cheese steak today from Amedeo Too that was $6.75 . Them things husky too. 12 inch full of meat and the cheese blended perfectly. Oh and that bread soft as a baby butt :banderas:

Only paid that much cause I ordered from work in the suburbs. IN Philly I'm getting a cheesesteak PLATTER from a papi store for like $5

So you're saying those little corner stores in Kensington, Fairhill, etc. have good cheesesteaks?
