Old City is full of college drunks late at night and tourists. That area gentrified like a mothafukka a while ago (same shyt with Fishtown now).
Compared to other areas of the city (north, west), it's way safer even late... Shootings are much lower there.

Old City is old money it was never in a position to have to be gentrified, and it's also not filled with college kids and yuppies, that's Center City and Rittenhouse. Old City is actually more black and latino as far as the clubs go now. 10 years ago was a completely different story, even though it wasn't really yuppies, a lot of Italian mobsters and wana be's were up there and even then still a lot of blacks, yuppies are there for happy hours and shyt like that.

While out on bond on the murder charges, Crittenton was arrested pursuant to a January 10, 2014, indictment of him and 13 other persons who were accused of selling multi-kilo quantities of cocaine and several hundred pounds of marijuana . Crittenton was charged with two counts of conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substance Act.[18]
