Most people period that have money live in "nice" neighborhoods but I don't want to mess up you narrative though. I'm never mad about gentrification because I see it like most times of change an opportunity to get $$$ like others I know. Maybe some of these other cats look at it that way but never I. Lastly like I always say I need for people like you to show and not talk (if you're not already doing it) because oftentimes folks esp online will say what needs to be done but they themselves aren't doing what they speaking on.
I get mad at gentrification because I don’t feel a neighborhood has to be expensive to be “good”. I’d love to live in a neighborhood with all black homeowners and the homes worth $55k. That’s not an issue for me as long as people take care of shyt. Our biggest issue is mentality. We will steal from stores, rob them, vandalize property, value possessions rather than assets, etc.
A neighborhood doesn't have to be expensive to be but let's also be realistic more times than not price is usually a sign of good stuff as far as neighborhoods. Hell if you want that just move to the Atl or places with a high black population you can find that. Gentrification usually happens because of opportunity. People's parents/grandparents buy the home pass it down and the kids don't take as good or care of the home, don't pay the property taxes, etc that makes it easy for someone to get a deal. You then have this happening a few more times then bam you got gentrification. I think most people like you only have a problem because it's white folks if it was mainly blacks doing the exact same thing would you really complain?
Yeah but other neighborhoods don't have as much violence.Crime is high in the hood, we know this. The reason why it's high, is a story all in itself, but it is what it is. Some of these cities are at 300+ murders for the year. The stores are located in the neighborhoods where these murders are occurring. They would be dumb not to protect themselves for real.

I agree with you, but that doesn’t change the fact the violence is there. Foreign store owners aren’t going to give our people the opportunities they deserve, not before their own. Just not gonna happen.
