Is it still a law that if you try to save someone from a crime, the victim or the assailant can still sue you?

I remember back in the day that was a motivator for people not getting involved in situations.
Good Samaritan laws would be in effect for something like this and you can get sued if you injured the party but most judges are not gonna allow that bullshyt to fly if it was done with no ill intent.

But in cases for example, someone can't breath and you try to do CPR with no training and you end up cracking the person's ribs/chest plate from improper chest compressions. You might be held liable for the medical bills. There's alot of context that has to be fleshed out.

Put shawty in the Heimlich maneuver and now she paralyzed :francis: because you broke her back or some other wild shyt

Something missing from this story. So you mean to tell me that

An employee of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority who was in the vicinity as the train went past called police to report that “something wasn't right"

But there is no mention in the article about the driver. How can someone on the street who sees the bus pass by…who happens to be a transit authority worker, see that something wasn’t right, but the driver didn’t?

You can always sue someone civilly. There's no laws on books that say you can't. The 6th amendment guarantees it.

Doesn't mean you'll win. But guarantees you'll be heard.

This is a wild story. But, people from that city might remember an old story of what happened to a Good Samaritan /concerned passenger on Septa.

Even saying that, just sitting there while a woman is being raped (and screaming) is unbelievable.

My blood still boils from this shyt:francis:. Everybody took the L from the hoodrat ass chick, the dude that should have let her hoodrat ass be to her miserable self involving her poor son, and the dusty dikkheads whipping out guns at a bus trying to get people home:beli:
