Growing up in NY, most of the people I knew loved the Philly scene. Wasn't a big major figgas fan but I Loved dead man walking. Also loved their beef with beans. Takes me back to my teens

I always thought Ram Squad was gonna be the next big thing in Philly back then in the late 90s, i hung around with a few of them nikkas on broad st on greek weekend back in like 98/99.... but once one of them died, and they fuked around with that mob money with Joey Merlino they just fell off the earth...then Tommy Hil died and that was the end of it.
They we're out of the game long before Tommy died. And Joey was frontin them before Random Access Money (their only release on a major). They had mob ties since the beginning. Oh yeah Boy Backs is on Masta Killa Loyalty is Royalty album.
