The statistical king Lebron looked like a poor man's Carmelo Anthony with those bum teammates because he couldn't score in a variety of ways. No post. No midrange. No 3 point shot. You want a guy to just shoot 3s and layups when no player who does that has won a ring. Ever. That's an analytic myth. Looks great in the regular season, gets you smoked in the playoffs.
when have you seen Carmelo shoot 38 times to score 40 points multiple times? The fact that you would rather have Kawhi Leonard, a proven number 2 guy AT BEST, shows that you will never give Melo a fair shake. Put Melo, PG, even Khris Middleton on SA and they win at least 3 titles. Melo has never had the tools to make a deep run to the finals.
