Those words don't sound like rhymes to me when it's said. You must be a rapper also, because you are looking at it from a technical point, not the actual song. Since we are being technical, the reason why he pulled it off is because he understands how to ride the beat to go along with his flow. Notice how the drum goes out when he hits the parts that usually rhyme with most rappers. He knows that will throw you off, but he pulls it off by actually having rhythm to what he's saying. He actually understands the feel of the SONG, and not just the rhymes, which is why he gets PROPS. Most rappers would not have pulled that off right, because they are too technical.

If I just told you I was imaging what he was saying, then I was LISTENING. You was just listening to his flow. I bet you're a rapper, and that's why you did that. You were analyzing it technically. I was just enjoying the song, and imagining his words, not listening to it technically. I do that with damn near all the music I listen to. I try to imagine a scenario that can go with the song and get a feel for it.

I stopped being technical with songs that I just want to enjoy ever since I started making beats, and could not enjoy music anymore because I kept listening to how the beat was made, and all this technical stuff.

When he said that at the end of the song, I imagined he said that to the chick he was talking to. Plus, every time I listen to this album, I'm doing something, and not just sitting down chilling so that could have played a part in me not noticing it sooner.

Wow, it's kinda ill cuz I went to college with Little Brother and used to rap in ciphers with Phonte & Pooh all over Durham. I never realized how much rap fans respect Phonte flows, I mean nikkas always said he was nice and I knew that but when you see cats saying he's their favorite rapper I was glad to know him. I still don't fukk with Drake cuz I believe he stole Phonte's whole style blew up off it and never came back to give Te his just due.
