U asked how does someone get a phone mixed up with a gun and I specifically said it might not pertain to this case but there are guns that look like cellphones. I'm not trying to justify this shooting since I wasn't there I was responding to that 1 particular comment. Things don't look good for this cop at all....I guess because I'm a paramedic and I have a lot of interactions with I look at them differently than most on here. I don't paint them with a broad paintbrush either side. All I know is because of my job I've seen cops do some great things...on the flip seen them do some stupid things aswell

Sapd is a great department...compared to other similar size departments that don't have nearly the issues....you probably could get hired anyeays

San Antonio has one of the highest rates of unarmed police shootings. Not to mention a terrible domestic abuse problem and officers getting accused of rape.

And I recently graduated with 2 degrees (finance and minor in criminal justice). They'd hire me in a heartbeat. I'd be a step up from their usual high school graduates.
